Diggs has long been an innovator in the services arena. She designed the first marketing-oriented request for multiple banking services in North America and placed the first ATM in a 7-11 convenience store in the country. She also worked with Scott Cook of Intuit to launch Quicken in Maryland, the third location in the United States. She re-engineered the country’s leading account reconciliation package for banks and insurance companies and specified system requirements for credit insurance sales, the state electronic food stamp program and the Maryland state drivers license system.
She has published a number of articles on hiring practices, process improvements and a book on marketing supported employment practices.
Ms. Diggs has worked for several large corporations including Korn/Ferry International, Dun & Bradstreet American Credit Indemnity and NYNEX, as well as serving for more than 14 years in the financial services industry.
A lifetime Certified Cash Manager, Ms. Diggs completed her Ph.D. coursework at the Johns Hopkins University, has a Master of Arts (MA) from the George Washington University and a BA with Honors from the University of Oklahoma. A graduate of Leadership Maryland, she has served on the Boards of Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Association for Financial Professionals and the Baltimore Symphony Chorus. She currently serves on the local Board of Directors of the American Red Cross. Ms. Diggs is listed in Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry and is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing for University of Maryland University College’s Executive MBA program. In August 2004, she received a Citation from the Governor of Maryland for her work on small business legislation and her commitment to the economic community of Maryland.
